Dr. Douglas Bair specializes in gastroenterology. After completing his undergraduate studies in zoology, with distinction, he completed his medical studies at the University of Western Ontario (1993-97). He obtained specialty training in internal medicine at McMaster University, where he was Chief Medical Resident in 2000. He completed his core subspecialty training at McMaster in 2002 where he was Chief Gastroenterology Resident. He continued his studies as a clinical scholar in therapeutic endoscopy at McMaster. He joined Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital as a gastroenterologist in 2003.
