COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) Advisory
We are taking the necessary precautions to keep all of our staff and patients safe, including enhanced cleaning protocol following the guidelines for effective infection control.

The most common symptoms of COVID-19 that require immediate self-isolation and COVID-19 testing include:
In addition to the following:
For adults (18 years of age and older)
If you think you have COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has symptoms associated with COVID-19, refer to the Getting Tested link below on this webpage for information on assessment and testing.
Getting Tested
Anyone who is sick or has any symptoms of illness, including those not listed in the screening tool (for example, runny nose, sore throat, nasal congestion, abdominal pain, headache, pink eye, decreased/lack of appetite, etc.), should stay home until symptoms are resolved for at least 24 hours (or 48 hours for adults with nausea, vomiting or diarrhea symptoms). It is recommended to consult with a health care provider as needed.
If an individual is symptomatic (with any symptom) and gets tested for COVID-19, they (and their unvaccinated household members) should self-isolate pending test results.
Individuals with symptoms must self-isolate even if they have received a COVID-19 vaccine.

- Fever and/or chills (temperature of 37.8°C/100°F or higher)
- Cough or barking cough (croup)
- Shortness of breath (out of breath, unable to breathe deeply)
- Decrease or loss of taste or smell
In addition to the following:
For adults (18 years of age and older)
- Muscle aches/joint pain - not related to getting a COVID-19 vaccine in the last 48 hours.
- Extreme tiredness/no energy/general feeling of being unwell - not related to getting a COVID-19 vaccine in the last 48 hours.

- you have COVID-19 symptoms(external PDF);
- you had a high-risk exposure* to COVID-19(external PDF);
- a self-assessment screening tool(external link) instructed you to;
- you have been advised to do so as part of an outbreak investigation.
